Cupcakes
A beautiful twist on an old classic!
Spring is Here!
I started with my chocolate cupcakes and used basic buttercream to design the tops. I used mini chocolate chips to do the center of the sunflower and add a red hot candy to make the ladybug. I chose an assortment of spring and summer flowers.
Time to Play!
I wanted to try something different this time with cupcakes. I took 3 cupcakes and created a sculpted dog. The ears and the tail are pretzels, the nose is a small candy, the eyes are mini chocolate chips, and the tongue and inner ears are bubble gum tape. I used chocolate cupcakes and iced the puppy in basic buttercream.
Wedding Cupcakes
These 6 dozen cupcakes were ordered as an accent to a Columbian wedding cake. The father-in-law to the bride ordered 3 dozen white cupcakes and 3 dozen chocolate cupcakes. To keep it simple yet sophisticated enough for a wedding, we used a vanilla buttercream to top them and added white candy pearls to accent them. There were 72 cupcakes in all.

I chose a different design for each cupcake. This Hello Kitty cupcake is iced in pink buttercream. Her face is molded with fondant and placed on top of the buttercream.

I chose a different design for each cupcake. This Cookie Monster cupcake is iced in blue buttercream to look like hair. His eyes are rolled fondant. To finish it off, we placed a chocolate cookie in his mouth.

I chose a different design for each cupcake. This Zero cupcake from Nightmare Before Christmas is iced in black buttercream. Zero is created with rolled fondant.
The final cupcake was iced in chocolate buttercream with a standard star tip.
