Valentine's Day
This is a standard chocolate cake iced in standard buttercream. I chose a simple pastel color scheme. The buttercream roses are the focal point of this cake and accented with the rosebuds. To incorporate the purple color throughout the rest of the cake, I added a purple ruffle to the side. The bottom has a standard buttercream shell border and the top has a standard buttercream reverse shell border. The cake is an 8" round cake and serves 14 people.

I wanted the cake to look like a bouquet of flowers, complete with the card. I chose simple borders and a simple side design to keep the roses the focal point of the cake. The cake is an 8" round cake and serves 14 people.

This is a cake with a vanilla layer and a chocolate layer iced in standard buttercream. It has a chocolate buttercream filling. I chose a simple pastel color scheme. I did the roses in buttercream with lily of the valley and rosebuds. I chose a teardrop border on top, a shell border on the bottom, and a ruffle side design. The cake is an 8" round cake and serves 14 people.
